Johannesburg’s whiskey-swilling, cigarette-toting, blues-swinging, rock ‘n rollers Dirty Moonshine have just released the video for their track Toxic Waltz taken from their forthcoming debut album Bottom of The Barrel set for release mid-2018.
Shot over an extended day at 3 different locations around the city, Director Marios Nicolettis had the following to say about his involvement – “When an opportunity comes up to do an amazing piece of content for a hard rock band, then the hamster wheel definitely starts spinning a lot faster. Dave, the bass player from Dirty Moonshine, approached us with their new track, we knew that this would be the track we threw everything at – girls, booze, tattoos, rock ‘n roll and our favourite, blowing up a whole lot of stuff!!
“We are super excited and proud of the finished product. Toxic Waltz has an incredible visual story to it now, and we’d like to thank Ministry of Illusion, Ting’s Tattoos, Sundowners and all our extras for all their unbelievable support and sponsoring of their valuable time into bringing this project to life.” – Dirty Moonshine
Reminiscent of hot days, boozy nights and dusty shoes, Dirty Moonshine has taken their own unique brand of rock’ n roll across the country, with a view to turn every single venue upside down.
Dirty Moonshine is everything your mother told you to avoid.
