MICHAEL MONROE DROPS “OLD KING’S ROAD” VIDEO
IT’S THE FIRST TASTE MICHAEL MONROE ‘S NEW ALBUM BLACKOUT STATES, OUT OCTOBER 9 VIA SPINEFARM RECORDS
That force of nature, multi-instrumentalist, and legendary rock ‘n’ roller known as MICHAEL MONROE has dropped his new video for “Old King’s Road,” the first single from his forthcoming record, entitledBlackout States. The album lands October 9 via Spinefarm Records.
Shot with the same drive and spirit as 2013’s “Ballad of the Lower East Side,” the video for “Old King’s Road” sees Monroe casting an eye over his early career in London. Michael Monroe and the band travelled to Brighton, on the UK’s south coast, and to London, with director/photographer Ville Juurikkala, a man known for capturing rock ‘n’ roll in the raw; Juurikkala has previously worked with some of Finland’s most full-tilt rockers, including Michael Monroe himself.
