THREE-TIME GRAMMY-NOMINATED BAND TO EMBARK ON TOUR SUPPORTING GHOST THIS FALL

Alt rock band and three-time Grammy nominees Nothing More are gearing up for their Fall 2019 tour in support of Ghost. The San Antonio four-piece will serve as the main support on the “Ultimate Tour Named Death.” The trek kicks off today, Friday, September 13 in at the Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield, CA and runs through October 26 in Glens Falls, NY. Tour dates for the Canadian and US run can be found below.

Nothing More, who’ve tallied three top 10 singles from their latest album, the 2017-released The Stories We Tell Ourselves (Better Noise Records/ Eleven Seven Label Group), have also shared the video for the song “Fade In/Fade Out.” The emotionally resonant track has quietly amassed over 13 million streams. It’s a testament to the devotion that Nothing More fans have for band — and the fact that a powerful song will always finds its audience.

As per lead vocalist Jonny Hawkins, “When I sing this song I daydream about about my childhood… the days before my parents were broken apart by cancer. I think about how my dad taught me to throw a ball. I think about how my mom taught me to tie my shoes. I think about how my dad would always say “hard work pays off” trying to teach me a lesson while I was focused on a video game, too young to care. I remember my mother consoling me when I threw a paint brush to the ground, frustrated by an unintended slip of the hand. I will never forget what she said, “Jonny, it’s not a mistake, there are no such things as mistakes, just creative opportunities.” I think about the first moment I realized that they wouldn’t be here forever. I think about how thankful I am.”

 “I got the idea for this song when my wife and I finally agreed on the name of our son — Fenix. I can only hope that my fire continues to burn in him long after I fade out — the same fire my father passed onto me,” says guitarist Mark Vollelunga. “May we all remember our parents and never leave words or feelings left unsaid. Don’t let it be too late…”

Comprised of Jonny Hawkins [vocals], Daniel Oliver [bass], Mark Vollelunga [guitar], and Ben Anderson [drums], Nothing More have worked relentlessly throughout their career to make a name for themselves in the rock world. The band released their self-titled album in 2014 with debut single, “This Is The Time (Ballast),” hitting #1 on the Active Rock Chart in the US with two more top 10 singles “Jenny” at #3 and “Here’s To The Heartache” at #4. Following the release, the band toured heavily throughout the world with acts including Volbeat, Killswitch Engage, Five Finger Death Punch, Halestorm, and Shinedown. Their most recent album, The Stories We Tell Ourselves (2017) landed them with 3 GRAMMY nominations in 2018 and dominated the rock category with the most nominations for Best Rock Album, while #1 single “Go To War” was nominated for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance of that year. The band had an incredible year in 2018, continuing to tour the world with household names such as Breaking Benjamin, and Bullet For My Valentine and Papa Roach. In 2019, the band kicked off their year with the ɥʇnɹʇ headlining tour in the US with Of Mice & Men, Badflower, & Palisades in support. In the spring, Nothing More headed to the UK with Papa Roach, followed by more headline dates in Europe. The band wraps the year as main support on Ghost’s headline tour.
