Alt-rock outfit The Fever Kings release single ‘Ain’t Gonna Say A Word’

UK alt-rock unit The Fever Kings have shared their new single ‘Ain’t Gonna Say A Word’. With it comes a self-produced music video showing the true side of the band, in various intimate settings.

The Fever Kings‘ debut single ‘Drown‘, released 7th April, served as an introduction for this brand new band to the UK alternative rock scene. The track has most notably received support from Primordial RadioTotal Rock RadioThe Moshville Times and Distorted Sound so far. Second single ‘Resist‘ followed on 12th May, and was further supported by some of the aforementioned outlets.

On ‘Ain’t Gonna Say A Word’, the band comment: This song is about the dreams you have as a child, and how we are often directed away from that path to instead get a “normal” job and contribute towards society in the standard way.

“We are all individual and people should be allowed to express themselves, but we are often discouraged from doing things, such as following the arts.

“The song is about being rebellious towards anything that is trying to steer you away from doing what you love, so that you’re able to follow your passion and really make your dreams come true – or at least do a damn good job at trying!”

Hailing from the North East of England, alternative rock four-piece The Fever Kings were born out of the brutal COVID lockdowns, and the burning desire that JackChrisAlex and Thomas felt to get back to music after long months of social hibernation. Since January 2022, the band have been writing music to serve the soul, carrying influences from Foo FightersBiffy ClyroJimmy Eat World and Lifehouse through their tasteful sense of melody, and their incredibly dynamic energy.

With just a handful of shows under their belt, the quartet have seen a phenomenal response to their music. After selling out their debut live performance, The Fever Kings have truly created a buzz around the North East. 2023 will see the band releasing their first singles and touring the UK in support.
