Australia-based metalcore band Capture the Crown’s reincarnation as Capture reflects the shift in the bands personal lives.  Throughout all their sonic evolutions, the band strives to “always be aggressive, brutal, and truthful.” Equipped with a more refined sound and wealth of experiences, Capture have released “Dingbats” as a taste of what’s to come.

Originally formed as Capture the Crown, the band formed in early 2010. After steadily releasing successful singles, the band traveled to the U.S. in 2012 to record its debut LP, Til Death, at revered metal producer Cameron Mizell’s Chango Studios (The Word Alive, For All Those Sleeping, A Skylit Drive). In 2013, the band embarked on high-profile treks with the likes of Of Mice and Men, Chelsea Grin, Every Time I Die, and Story of the Year, all the while steadily building up a reputation as a dominant live act and band to watch. Later that year, Capture the Crown crowd-funded their independent Live Life EP. The band soon hit the studio with producers Tyler Larson and Matt Good (From First to Last) to record new music. Soon after, they signed with Artery Recordings and released their sophomore full-length, Reign of Terror, which hit #86 on the Billboard Heat Seekers chart.
