Singer/Guitarist Achieves Impressive Feat With Three Consecutive #1 Singles From Current Album SUNSHINE & WHISKEY

“Young & Crazy” Follows GOLD-Certified Hit Singles “Sunshine & Whiskey” And “Helluva Life”

Warner Bros. Records/WMN artist Frankie Ballard was indeed young and crazy when he left his hometown of Battle Creek, MI for Nashville 10 years ago. A lot of hard work and determination led to the release of his full length album SUNSHINE & WHISKEY (February 2014) which debuted Top 5 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. Eighteen months later, Ballard is celebrating his third consecutive #1 single from that album with “Young & Crazy” taking the top spot on both the Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay Charts this week. “Young & Crazy” follows his two previous GOLD-certified #1 hits “Helluva Life” and “Sunshine & Whiskey.”
“I couldn’t have asked for more out of this album or my fans. It has been so much fun playing it for you on the road these past months,” shares Ballard. “Thank you to all the people who make Country Radio possible. My spirit is celebrating today!”
Praised as one of the “Young Guns” leading Country music’s changing of the guard (BILLBOARD), Ballard recently joined forces with the CMA Foundation, Chevrolet and Warner Music Nashville to officially open the Notes for Notes recording studio at Sports Academics Youth in Detroit, near his hometown of Battle Creek, MI.
Playing over 400 shows across North America in the past two years, the “headliner in the making” (ROLLING STONE) is currently on Florida Georgia Line’s 2015 ANYTHING GOES Tour. This winter he will join Randy Houser’s WE WENT TOUR as direct support, which kicks off November 20 in Corbin, KY. The talented singer/guitarist has previously opened for Jake Owen, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift and longtime idol Bob Seger.
Hailed by ROLLING STONE as “required listening,” Ballard is on the rise selling more than 1.7 million tracks to date and racking up over 72 million total streams. Moving to Nashville in 2009 to pursue music, he drew on his working class values, performing every chance he could, honing his guitar and songwriting skills. He steadily built a loyal fan base and took the time to grow as an artist and an individual, defining his unique blend of blues-infused, country rock which producer Marshall Altman captured throughout the albumSUNSHINE & WHISKEY.
