US ARENA TOUR WITH FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, SHINEDOWN AND SIXX:A.M. KICKS OFF OCTOBER 18th
British rockers AS LIONS release their eagerly awaited debut EP, AFTERMATH today (October 14) via Better Noise Records. Aftermath is available digitally in the US and both physically and digitally in Europe. Physical copies of the EP will also be available for purchase on the band’s upcoming US arena tour with Five Finger Death Punch,Shinedown, and Sixx:A.M.—tour routing enclosed.
Upon the release of the EP, As Lions reveal the music video for new single and title-track“Aftermath.” In keeping with the track’s powerful lyrics, the video portrays a heart-wrenching scene of a rescue team searching rubble and ruin for life, as a child lays desperate, buried beneath the destruction. Entwined with an explosive live performance of the band, the story ends with hope and liberation as the boy is discovered and brought to safety.
“Aftermath” is the first single taken from the EP. The EP features four dynamic tracks encompassing grinding rock riffs and rhythms with majestically sweeping strings, stately piano tinklings and atmospheric electronics, topped with frontman Austin Dickinson’s soaring vocals and introspective lyrics.
Comprised of Dickinson, guitarist and keyboardist Conor O’Keefe, guitarist Will Homer, bassist Stefan Whiting and drummer Dave Fee, As Lions are the evolution of British rock. Standing by their mission to create “the biggest, baddest hard rock we could, and on an almost cinematic scale,” the band has worked with award-winning producer David Bendeth (Of Mice & Men, Paramore, Bring Me The Horizon) and Kane Churko (Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed, In This Moment).
The band has played sold out shows in the UK, performing with metal/rock pioneers, Trivium, and making festival appearances this past summer at Camden Rocks and Download. As Lions are now gearing up to bring Aftermath and their explosive live show to the US during their 36-date tour with Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, and Sixx:A.M.
