Psychosomatic is a Sacramento based band that formed in 1988. Psychosomatic merges the aggression and speed of thrash and mixed it with the attitude and lyrical style of skate punk. Vocalist/bassist Jeff Salgado is the founding member of the group that has continued the original vision of the group by creating “in your face” thrash metal music. Taking what Skate punk bands like NOFX and The Faction started, Psychosomatic has continued to bring it to a modern sound that is relevant today. With Toby Swope and Daniel Mills sharing both lead and rhythm guitars, add in Jared Klein on drums, and you have a band that is ready to put out their latest album.
The band will release “Clicking Sound of a Hammer Pulled Back” on September 18th on Buriedinhell Records. This is a twelve song rampage consisting of:

Psychosomatic has released previous albums including “The Unquenchable Thirst” and “Another Disease”.
With the release of the new album, the band will also be hitting the road on September 18th for a five week US Tour with Denver based band Havok.
