Scott Weiland, the vocalist known for his time with Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver died last night at the age of 48 confirmed Weiland’s manager.
Scott Weiland’s official instagram posted that Weiland passed away in his sleep on a tour stop in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Scott Weiland’s life was often in the headlines for his constant battle with heroin. He battled with bipolar disorder as he stated in his 2011 memoir “Not Dead & Not for Sale”.
It is a sad day when we lose such an incredible musician that had so much more to offer.
There has been no confirmation on the actual cause of Weiland’s death.
