HOUSE OF BLUES BOSTON DECEMBER 27, 28 & 29

This year funds raised will benefit Boston Children’s Hospital via the Zach Hoefler Memorial Trust

 

Curated by Boston ska-punk kings The Mighty Mighty BossToneS, HomeTown ThrowDown is back, this year’s three-day festival titled “It’s A Plaid Plaid World” will take place at House of Blues Boston. All shows are all ages and support lineup as follows:

Dec. 29 Big D & The Kids Table

 

Annually at their HomeTown ThrowDown, The Mighty Mighty BossToneS raise money to help a charitable organization that is doing important work in the community. In recent years, funds have benefited Music Drives Us, The Shout Syndicate, The Claddah Fund and others. This year funds raised will benefit Boston Children’s Hospital via the Zach Hoefler Memorial Trust.

 

Boston Children’s Hospital is dedicated to improving and advancing the health and well-being of children around the world through its life-changing work in clinical care, biomedical research, medical education and community engagement.

 

With over a 30-year career, Boston’s best-dressed band continues to build a devoted following with their unique brass-infused brand of rock n’ punk.  In 2017 to honor the plaid-clad rockers’ Boston Mayer Martin Walsh declared that December 28 is officially Mighty Mighty BossToneS Day in the city.

 

The Mighty Mighty BossToneS are Dicky Barrett, Joe Gittleman, Chris Rhodes, Tim Burton, Joe Sirois, Leon Silva, Ben Carr, Lawrence Katz, John Goetchius.
