Portland, OR-based, alt-metal band Veio conjures up their own brand of hard rocking tracks. The freshly formed lineup brings a mature, heavy sound, with complex time signature changes, sonic experimentation and vocal anthems that peak during choruses, but never die out.
Veio comments, “‘Ghost’ examines one’s inner struggle with self-endangering behaviors perpetuated by addiction. The track explores the difficult transition away from precarious thought patterns perpetuated by habit and routine.”
Veio’s upcoming album, Infinite Light / Desperate Shadows, is the first studio release from the band’s newly formed lineup. The track unfolds the inner workings of a journey through life, with the end goal of finding a permanent home and coming to terms with a spiritual end. In celebration of the release, the band is currently gearing up for their West Coast dates. The tour kicks off on March 17th with their hometown album release show at Analog Theater. Infinite Light / Desperate Shadows is due out March 17th.
