The post-grunge veterans deliver a raw, emotionally heavy set that proves why their sound still hits harder than most of today’s rock radio.

LIVE NATION PRESENTS:

SEETHER LIVE AT FIRSTBANK AMPHITHEATER IN FRANKLIN, TN ON 10/24/25

Seether returned to FirstBank Amphitheater with a no-frills, high-impact performance that reminded fans why they’ve remained a force in post-grunge for over two decades. The amphitheater’s natural limestone backdrop perfectly complemented the band’s rugged, emotionally charged rock—an environment where every riff resonated deeper and every lyric carried extra weight. From the moment the house lights went down, there was an unmistakable tension only a seasoned hard-rock band can summon.

Shaun Morgan took the stage with his trademark low stance and quiet intensity, immediately leading the band into a crushing opener of ‘Lost All Control’. His voice—raspy, weathered, yet sharper than many of his contemporaries—cut through the humid Tennessee air with precision and conviction. Whether snarling through heavier passages or drifting into Seether’s signature reflective melancholy, Morgan delivered every note with raw, lived-in honesty.

The rhythm section anchored the night. Dale Stewart’s bass rumbled across the amphitheater, perfectly synchronized with John Humphrey’s powerful drumming. Humphrey’s approach favored precision over flash, giving each transition a muscular impact. Seether’s sound—dense without being muddy, melodic without being delicate—was amplified further in the live setting.

Guitarist Corey Lowery added a vital spark, moving with energy across the stage and layering the band’s sound with dynamic flair. His interplay with Morgan gave classic tracks new life; riffs hit harder, harmonics soared, and solos carried additional grit and swagger. Without relying on flashy visuals or over-the-top production, the band used lighting and smoke effects sparingly but effectively, giving songs like “Remedy” and “Words as Weapons” a renewed sense of power.

As expected, the amphitheater roared hardest during Seether’s biggest hits. An acoustic version of “Broken” transformed into a full-venue sing-along, voices rising into the night sky. “Country Song” had fans immediately on their feet, fists pumping in time with the iconic riff. The emotional peak came during “Fake It,” which built from quiet reflection to a cathartic, collective eruption—a rare moment where the song became a shared experience.

By the end of the night, the limestone walls seemed to carry the emotional weight the band had poured into the performance. The show was tight, unpretentious, and unapologetically loud—exactly what fans expect from Seether. In an era of overproduced rock tours, their dedication to raw musicianship and straightforward execution remains refreshing. At FirstBank Amphitheater, that approach didn’t just succeed—it left a lasting impact.
