ALICE COOPER LIVE AT THE SAVE MART CENTER IN FRESNO, CA ON 12/17/15

Alice Cooper – Still a Master of Showmanship and Music

When it comes to being a true showman in the music world, Alice Cooper has that in spades. Add the fact that he and his band play great music and you have a recipe for a great evening. Alice Cooper has been doing his “Raise the Dead Tour” as the opener for Motley Crue’s “The Final Tour” or the past year and a half. As the tour winds down with only a few shows left, it was time to experience a true entertainer and his band. At sixty-seventy years old, Alice reminds the crowd why he is still one of the greats after forty plus years. Early career songs like “Under My Wheels”, “I’m Eighteen”, and “I love The Dead” keep the fans singing along with Alice. He still adds the theatrics with the straight jacket, the guillotine, the snake, the psychotic nurse, and even Frankenstein, yes Frankenstein! The great part is Alice Cooper has perfected his show so that it does not come across as campy or dated but really cool and entertaining. That is a true showman. The music and entertainment influence of Alice Cooper can be seen in bands like Motley Crue, Kiss, Twiztid, & any other band that puts on a show. Alice also gave us commercial hits like “No More Mr. Nice Guy”, “Billion Dollar Babies”, and Poison”. So when you mix the music with the theatrics, you get one Hell of a great show!
