At approximately 10:08pm PST, on October 1, 2017, tragedy struck at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, a country music venue, in Las Vegas Nevada. While Jason Aldean was on stage performing, a gunman opened fire on the crowd from a hotel room at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. At the time of this post 59 people have lost their lives and 525 have been injured. This sad tragedy has been labeled as the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history.
This is heartbreaking to us here at Mayhem Music Magazine, as we are part of the music community. Concerts are a place to have fun and enjoy life and good music. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims and their families, who have been affected by this tragedy. We may not understand why this happened but we can help. Here is how anyone can help:
